On 26 January 2026, a visit was arranged to ORHAN to see the accessibility environment and facilities provided for persons with disabilities. The visit emphasized the importance of an inclusive environment, including braille printing facilities, the availability of sign language interpreter services, accessible infrastructure, and classroom setups designed to meet the needs of all users. The classrooms were arranged to ensure ease of use for wheelchair users as well as persons with visual and hearing impairments. While sign language interpreter services were identified as essential, it was recommended that these services be strengthened and made more consistently available to enhance effective communication for persons with hearing and speaking disabilities.

A specially designed accessible washroom measuring 6 x 8 feet was available to support persons with disabilities, particularly wheelchair users, with adequate space for assistance. Facilities for persons with visual impairments included a dedicated Blind Unit, enabling users to access services independently after initial guidance. The overall environment was suitable for wheelchair users, ensuring smooth mobility and independent access. Special consideration was also given to colour-blind persons through appropriate equipment and room arrangements. The institution maintains separate divisions for mobility disabilities, visual disabilities, and hearing and speaking disabilities, ensuring that all facilities are user-friendly and accessible for everyone.
