All the internal examination affairs of the University of Vavuniya are coordinated and conducted by the Examination  Branch. The Recruitment examinations, Confirmation and Promotion examinations for the non-academic, Academic Supportive staff are also conducted by the branch. Further Examination Branch issues Degree certificates, detailed results, Statements and Academic Transcripts for all undergraduate students. The Confirmation of degrees which are referred from various government and private organizations is carried out by the branch per their request. The Examination Branch prepares and provides a list of graduates for the convocation.

The Examination and Student Admission Branch also enrolls students and issues record books and identity cards for them.
