Grand Opening Ceremony

The VALID Centre was formally opened at the Park Road premises of the University of Vavuniya. The ceremony featured an oil lamp lighting and an innovation exhibition showcasing local agri-food enterprise.

A partnership Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Science and Technology and the University of Vavuniya for the Incubation Centre for Sustainable Food Innovation. The occasion included discussion with Hon. Minister Professor Chrishantha Abeysena.
