IoT Hands-on Session

The “IoT Hands-On Session Workshop” conducted by IEEE Computer Society Student Branch Chapter of the University of Vavuniya is a hands-on workshop where students had a chance to work with real IoT components held on the 20th of April 2024 at TLH-1, Faculty of Technological Studies, University of Vavuniya. Sponsored by the Lyca Gnanam Foundation, the full-day session brought together over 70 participants for an immersive learning experience. The event featured insightful presentations, interactive discussions, and practical IoT activities led by resource person Mr. Ravichandran Soban (BSc Eng. Hons in EEE). Highlights included special giveaways, media coverage by the Unipod Lens subcommittee, and a token of appreciation presented by Chapter Advisor Ms. P. Amritha. The session concluded with a motivational address and a vote of thanks, marking a day of impactful learning and engagement in the field of IoT.
