On October 9th, 2024, the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Vavuniya celebrated IEEE Day in grand style! The event took place at LH1, Faculty of Applied Science, starting at 1:30 PM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were honored to have Ms. Vithuckshiha Puvanasingam<\/strong>, Product Manager & Innovation Lead at IYKONS and a former IEEE-CS Chapter Chair, as our esteemed guest speaker. Her inspiring words encouraged us to explore the endless possibilities of innovation and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A special shoutout to our IEEE Day Ambassador, Ms. Ilma Ismail<\/strong>, for her remarkable contributions in making the day memorable. The session was beautifully hosted by Ms. Chamodi Indrajith<\/strong>, who guided us through fun-filled games and activities, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Executive Committee members also took the stage to introduce IEEE, share its vision, and encourage new memberships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a day full of learning, laughter, and camaraderie as we celebrated the spirit of IEEE. Here’s to more inspiring events and a growing IEEE family at the University of Vavuniya!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
