Vannixtreme1.0 Hackathon

This is a 12-hour virtual coding challenge hosted on HackerRank. It took place from 6.00PM on the 9th of October 2024 up to 12.00AM on the 20th of October 2024 via online and tested the problem-solving skills of students with dynamic coding rounds.A total of 31 solo participants from both the Faculty of Technological Studies and the Faculty of Applied Science participated in this competition. The questions were released to participants every half an hour, and they submitted their answers through the HackerRank platform. Winners were selected based on the efficiency of their code, including execution time and coding technique. Out of 31 participants, the top three winners received cash prizes. The event fostered innovation and competitive spirit among students of the University of Vavuniya.
