Tech Waves Session 01

The first session of the TechWaves online tech talk series, organized by the IEEE Student Branch of the University of Vavuniya, was held on the 30th of May 2024 from 7.00 PM to 8.00 PM via the Zoom platform. This session was titled “Software Engineering in 2024” and was an insightful session featuring Mr. Nimesha Jinarajadasa, Lead Software Engineer at KodeKloude, as the guest speaker. The session provided participants with a comprehensive overview of the latest trends, tools, and practices in software engineering, helping them understand how the field is evolving in today’s tech-driven world. With a focus on preparing students and young professionals for the current and future demands of the industry, the talk inspired many to explore career opportunities and sharpen their technical skills in software development. The session was organized under the guidance of the student branch chair Ms. Dinusha and Project Chair Mr.Yashen Fernando, leading the initiative.
