STEM SPARK

STEM SPARK is a collaborative workshop organized by IEEE WIE Student Branch Affinity Group of the University of Vavuniya in collaboration with the WIE Student Branch Affinity Groups of University of Ruhuna and University of Kelaniya. It was held at Al-Aksha Maha Vidyalaya on the 6th of March 2024. This workshop aimed at encouraging post-O/L girls to pursue career in STEM careers. Mr.R.Soban, Temporary Lecturer of the Department of ICT, Faculty of Technological Studies, University of Vavuniya served as the Guest Speaker for this workshop and engaged 65 participants with inspirational sessions and mentoring. The event was very interactive and successful.
